    Concrete Contractor in Farmington, NY

If you’re looking for a concrete contractor in Farmington, NY, we install driveways, patios, and foundations built for long-term durability in new and developing neighborhoods. From homes near Route 332 to growing subdivisions off County Road 41 and Hook Road, we build concrete designed to handle fresh construction conditions and long-term use.

Why Homeowners in Farmington Choose Our Concrete Services

Farmington has seen rapid growth in recent years, with many new homes and developments. While that’s great for homeowners, it also means a lot of concrete is installed quickly — and sometimes without the proper preparation. We’ve worked throughout Farmington and often see issues caused by rushed installations or poor base work. Whether you’re installing new concrete or replacing something that didn’t hold up, we focus on doing it right from the start so you don’t deal with problems later.

Our goal is simple: build it properly the first time.

    Recent Concrete Projects in Farmington

We’ve completed a variety of concrete projects across Farmington, often focused on new construction and correcting builder-installed issues.

    • Driveway installation in new subdivision off County Road 41 — installed with proper base after original builder prep was insufficient
    • Backyard patio near Hook Road — designed to integrate with new landscaping and prevent drainage issues
    • Stamped concrete patio near Route 332 — added to enhance curb appeal on a newer home
    • Garage slab replacement near Victor border — rebuilt after early cracking due to poor initial installation

Each project is built to correct or prevent common new-construction problems.

Why Do New Driveways Crack So Quickly in Some Neighborhoods?

In many new developments, driveways are installed before the ground fully settles or without proper base preparation. This leads to early cracking and uneven surfaces. Taking the time to prepare the base correctly makes a significant difference in how long the driveway lasts.

TLDR: NG Masonry does outstanding work. Noah, Dave, and Teresa are fantastic people who care about precision, long‑term quality, and keeping the whole process stress free. I recommend them 1000 percent. Detail: Working with NG Masonry and Construction was a genuinely great experience. Noah, Dave, and Teresa were easy to talk to, kept me updated at every step, and clearly take pride in doing things the right way. Their communication was excellent, and the level of precision they brought to the project really stood out. This wasn’t just a garage floor and sidewalk replacement. It felt like a mix of craftsmanship and engineering. They treated my home and property with more care than any contractor I’ve ever hired. Everything was protected, cleaned up, and handled with real respect. The project stayed right on schedule, and they made the whole process simple and stress free. What really sets them apart is how they plan for the future. This wasn’t a quick fix or a basic replacement. They engineered the entire project to last. The drainage, the pitch, the base, the concrete mix, the reinforcement, all of it was done with long‑term durability in mind. You can feel the difference when you see the final result. I’m proud of how things turned out. The garage and sidewalk look the way they should look. Solid, clean, and built to stay that way. I feel confident in their work and relieved at how well everything turned out. NG Masonry went above and beyond from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants high quality work done by people who care. And if you’re a future customer, ask them what makes their process different from other contractors. You’ll be surprised at how much goes into doing it the right way.

We were so impressed with NG Masonry's work! After a bad experience with another contractor, it was a relief to work with NG Masonry. They demoed our existing patio and installed a new broom finish patio. They communicated clearly, hit their promised timeline, were tidy, and worked hard to understand our property and priorities and install something that checked all the boxes and looks like it will be functional and beautiful for a long time. Thanks again!

If you are looking for a Masonry contractor in Monroe County NY, Noah and the team at NG Masonry & Construction should be your top choice. Noah demonstrated why they have a high BBB rating. I was looking for a company to put in a 17 x 14 patio. We need a pad this size as we are going to install a gazebo and with the high winds we have had lately, over 40mps, I wanted a pad that would make sure the gazebo was firmly anchored. I check the BBB website and found a few contractors that had high ratings. After contacting them, I only heard from two NG and another company. The other company quoted a job that I considered substandard as it was a 4 in pad and wire mesh in the concrete. Noah then quoted a 5 in pad and rebar in the concrete. A much stronger and durable pad then just wire mesh and thick enough to make sure I can anchor the gazebo as per manufactures requirements. The installation took about 30 hours over 3 days and as you can see from the photo, it look like we have individual slabs installed instead of one continous pad. The after job cleanup was fantastic, since every thing had to be barreled in from the street, any damage to the lawn was leveled out, top soil applied and then seeded. As you can see, they also graded aound the pad and seeded. I have no problem with recommending them to anybody that needs Masonry work. Great Job Noah!!!

    Should You Upgrade Builder-Grade Concrete?

Builder-installed concrete is often designed to meet minimum requirements, not long-term durability. Upgrading to properly installed concrete can prevent future repairs and improve performance over time.

How Do You Know if Your New Concrete Was Installed Correctly?

Signs of proper installation include a stable surface, correct slope for drainage, and no early cracking. If issues appear within the first year or two, it’s often a sign the base wasn’t prepared correctly.

    A Stamped Concrete Patio

This Farmington home had an older stamped patio off the deck that had faded over the years. We replaced it with a larger stamped concrete patio in a gray ashlar slate pattern with a clean curved edge that follows the yard, giving the open rural lot a defined, refreshed outdoor living space.

Stamped concrete delivers the look of natural stone in one continuous pour, so there are no joints for weeds and no separate sections to shift. We set and graded the base for drainage, then sealed the finish so it holds its color against sun, salt, and Farmington's freeze-thaw winters

What’s the Best Time to Install Concrete After New Construction?

It’s best to wait until the ground has settled and grading is finalized. Installing too early can lead to shifting and long-term issues.

Can You Replace Poorly Installed Concrete in New Homes?

Yes, and it’s often necessary if the original installation was rushed. Replacing it with properly installed concrete prevents ongoing problems.
