    Concrete Contractor in Marion, NY

If you’re looking for a concrete contractor in Marion, NY, we install driveways, patios, and slabs built for long-term durability on rural and residential properties. From homes near Main Street to properties along Route 21 and surrounding farmland, we build concrete designed to handle open conditions, seasonal weather, and everyday use.

Why Homeowners in Marion Choose Our Concrete Services

Concrete projects in Marion are often about reliability and function. Many properties have larger lots, outbuildings, or long driveways that need to hold up over time without constant maintenance. We’ve worked throughout Marion and understand how to install concrete that performs in these conditions. Whether it’s a driveway, patio, or slab for a garage or pole barn, we focus on proper base preparation and durability so the work lasts.

Our goal is simple: install concrete that works the way it should — and keeps working.

    Recent Concrete Projects in Marion

We’ve completed a variety of concrete projects across Marion, often focused on durability and function.

    • Long driveway installation near Route 21 — built to handle distance and prevent cracking across larger surfaces
    • Concrete slab for pole barn near Walworth-Marion Road — reinforced for equipment use and long-term stability
    • Backyard patio near Parker Road — installed with proper grading to prevent water pooling
    • Garage floor slab near Marion Village — finished for durability and easy maintenance

Each project is built to perform in real-world conditions, not just look good initially.

How Do Long Driveways Hold Up Over Time?

Long driveways are common in Marion, but they require more planning than shorter residential driveways. Without proper joint spacing and base support, stress builds across the surface and leads to cracking over time.

We design long driveways with control joints placed at the correct intervals and reinforce the base underneath to distribute weight evenly. This reduces stress points and helps the surface hold up through seasonal changes and daily use.

TLDR: NG Masonry does outstanding work. Noah, Dave, and Teresa are fantastic people who care about precision, long‑term quality, and keeping the whole process stress free. I recommend them 1000 percent. Detail: Working with NG Masonry and Construction was a genuinely great experience. Noah, Dave, and Teresa were easy to talk to, kept me updated at every step, and clearly take pride in doing things the right way. Their communication was excellent, and the level of precision they brought to the project really stood out. This wasn’t just a garage floor and sidewalk replacement. It felt like a mix of craftsmanship and engineering. They treated my home and property with more care than any contractor I’ve ever hired. Everything was protected, cleaned up, and handled with real respect. The project stayed right on schedule, and they made the whole process simple and stress free. What really sets them apart is how they plan for the future. This wasn’t a quick fix or a basic replacement. They engineered the entire project to last. The drainage, the pitch, the base, the concrete mix, the reinforcement, all of it was done with long‑term durability in mind. You can feel the difference when you see the final result. I’m proud of how things turned out. The garage and sidewalk look the way they should look. Solid, clean, and built to stay that way. I feel confident in their work and relieved at how well everything turned out. NG Masonry went above and beyond from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wants high quality work done by people who care. And if you’re a future customer, ask them what makes their process different from other contractors. You’ll be surprised at how much goes into doing it the right way.

We were so impressed with NG Masonry's work! After a bad experience with another contractor, it was a relief to work with NG Masonry. They demoed our existing patio and installed a new broom finish patio. They communicated clearly, hit their promised timeline, were tidy, and worked hard to understand our property and priorities and install something that checked all the boxes and looks like it will be functional and beautiful for a long time. Thanks again!

If you are looking for a Masonry contractor in Monroe County NY, Noah and the team at NG Masonry & Construction should be your top choice. Noah demonstrated why they have a high BBB rating. I was looking for a company to put in a 17 x 14 patio. We need a pad this size as we are going to install a gazebo and with the high winds we have had lately, over 40mps, I wanted a pad that would make sure the gazebo was firmly anchored. I check the BBB website and found a few contractors that had high ratings. After contacting them, I only heard from two NG and another company. The other company quoted a job that I considered substandard as it was a 4 in pad and wire mesh in the concrete. Noah then quoted a 5 in pad and rebar in the concrete. A much stronger and durable pad then just wire mesh and thick enough to make sure I can anchor the gazebo as per manufactures requirements. The installation took about 30 hours over 3 days and as you can see from the photo, it look like we have individual slabs installed instead of one continous pad. The after job cleanup was fantastic, since every thing had to be barreled in from the street, any damage to the lawn was leveled out, top soil applied and then seeded. As you can see, they also graded aound the pad and seeded. I have no problem with recommending them to anybody that needs Masonry work. Great Job Noah!!!

Is Concrete a Good Option for Rural Properties?

Concrete is one of the most durable and low-maintenance options for rural properties when installed correctly. It handles vehicle traffic, weather exposure, and long-term use better than many alternatives.

The key is proper installation. When the base is prepared correctly and the concrete is reinforced for the intended use, it provides a long-lasting surface that requires minimal upkeep compared to gravel or asphalt.

What’s the Best Way to Prevent Mud and Erosion Around Concrete?

Mud and erosion are common issues on rural properties, especially around driveways and slabs that don’t have proper drainage or edge support.

We address this by grading the surrounding area and ensuring water flows away from the concrete. In some cases, we also plan transitions between concrete and surrounding surfaces to prevent washout and keep the area stable over time.

Can Concrete Be Installed on Previously Undeveloped Land?

Many properties in Marion are built on land that hasn’t been previously developed, which means the soil may not be compacted or stable enough for concrete installation.

Before pouring, we properly prepare and compact the base to create a stable foundation. This step is critical for preventing settling, shifting, or uneven surfaces after installation. Skipping this process is one of the main reasons concrete fails in rural areas.

What Type of Concrete Works Best for Pole Barn Floors?

A professional concrete driveway offers more than just access to your garage; it enhances the aesthetic appeal and value of your property. Our team specializes in creating driveways that are not only durable but also beautifully designed to complement your home's exterior. By using quality concrete, we ensure a durable surface that can withstand the test of time and weather, providing you with a cost-effective solution for your driveway needs.
